Shorena Petriashvili

Shorena Petriashvili was born in 1972. In 1989, she graduated from the First Experimental Secondary School in Tbilisi, and in 1994, she graduated from the Faculty of Geography and Geology at Tbilisi State University. In 2004, she was awarded a Doctorate in Geological Sciences.

At an early stage of her career, she actively participated in international and local scientific grants, published around 20 articles in the field of geoecology, and until 2015 worked as a Senior Research Scientist at the Institute of Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology of the Georgian Technical University.

After moving to the United States, Shorena changed her professional path. Between 2016 and 2018, she trained in pharmaceutical technologies and became employed within pharmacy systems, including private pharmacies and hospitals. At the same time, during 2022–2023, she conducted risk management database analysis for the corporation “Diligent,” working with major clients such as Coca-Cola, Heineken, General Mills, and others.

Shorena is married and has three children
